COMMITTEE 2025/26

Our committee is made up of six divisions, each leading their own flagship activities and events. Guided by the leadership of our main committee, we work together to create opportunities that will bring you closer to your career aspirations.
MARKETING
As the backbone of the committee, our Marketing Division drives member growth and ensures the society has a strong presence both online and on campus. The team supports other divisions with creative design and promotional materials, while also shaping the society’s brand and communication strategy. This year, we are excited to go further by introducing our own marketing-focused events, giving members the chance to explore branding, digital strategy, and creative communications first-hand.

CLIENT RELATIONS
Our Client Relations Division is responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with firms that support the society. The team focuses on maximising sponsorship from both long-standing and new partners, ensuring sustainable growth for our initiatives. Beyond this, we aim to diversify the UCL Guild’s sponsorship portfolio by engaging business-related firms across a wide range of industries, creating valuable opportunities for both our members and our partners.

CONSULTING
Unlike other Guild societies, UCL Business Society has a dedicated Consulting Division that leads some of our flagship initiatives. The team coordinates our Consulting Mentorship Programme, connecting students with professionals from top firms for one-to-one guidance, skills workshops, and networking. Beyond mentorship, the division also runs case competitions, panel discussions, and training sessions, giving members the chance to build problem-solving skills and gain direct exposure to the consulting industry.

COMPETITIONS
Our Competitions Division is responsible for organising some of the most engaging and high-profile student competitions at UCL. From case challenges to strategy simulations, this division provides members with the chance to apply their knowledge in real-world business scenarios, develop teamwork, and sharpen their problem-solving skills. A flagship initiative is DECA UCL, one of the most prestigious case competitions on campus, where students compete across categories such as finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship, and receive feedback from industry professionals. The division ensures that every competition is not just a challenge, but also a learning experience that prepares our members for future careers.
EVENTS
The Events Division brings the society to life by running a wide range of professional and community-focused events throughout the year. From large-scale panels such as our Spring Panel with industry leaders, to intimate fireside chats with professionals, the division creates spaces for meaningful conversations and insights into different career paths. Alongside this, the team organises CV workshops, skills sessions, and networking evenings, helping members gain both practical career support and direct exposure to top employers. The Events Division ensures there is always something happening to inspire, educate, and connect our members.
SOCIAL ENTERPRISES
Our Social Enterprise Division focuses on two key areas. First, we provide our members with opportunities to connect with and learn from leaders in the social enterprise space, raising awareness of this career path and its impact. Second, we support students from underprivileged local schools by offering mentorship, career guidance, and skills-based workshops to help them explore future opportunities. Through these initiatives, the division aims to inspire socially conscious careers while giving back to the wider community
